DNA's Mantis Berg Build...

Good look'in rig man!! I remember Fishmaxx's mantis at one of our comps. Of course that was a super rig, but I never could get why it fell apart so much? :lol:
 
Losi shocks

Does anyone have part numbers and a good source for the .6 smooth body Losi shocks?

What was the spring & oil combo that worked/is working best?

will the links that come with this kit clock the rear axle like i see in your pics

Also any other suggestions you might have on shocks? The .6 shocks are the ones that arent sold anymore correct?

yes the supplied links will clock your rear axle as it's shown in the pics.


as far as shocks you could also run 4" losi crawlers. i used the .6 shocks because that's what i had on hand at the time of the build.

you can see here where i used 1/2 fuel tubing to "lift" up the front. with a 4" shock i wouldn't have to use the tubing at all.
 
yea i saw that tubing I wasnt sure the size of the .6 shocks as I am not familiar with them.
