xjnation said:No offense, but I still disagree. Truggy is to rockcrawling as much as the local porn shop is a good place to get disney movies. They might look similar, but are for 2 different purposes. Truggy would make sense if it originated with rock crawling, but it didn't. You asked for a true definition of truggy, not a generalization or an opinion. Tubed rear half on a truck frame is cool with me, it affects me in no way other than if someone says truggy I now have to ask if its a Crawling truggy ar a real truggy. What if I put a truck bed on my dune buggy??? BUCK??? or could that be a truggy also?? Or if we put a truck bed on a forklift??? @uck? ok, that was a stretch... Like i said, no offense. Every1 is entitled to their opinion and that is mine. You can call that a truggy all you want and if you keep it up, it might become mainstream enought that even the true definition will become distorted from its origins. Thats the wonderful thing about the english language. Thats tight, phat, and ronjokshen. Think that word will take off??? It can mean whatever the hell you want. (I'm gunna laugh me azz off if I hear it again in 10 years.) Happy wheeling. ;-)
you say a true definition: Well Merriam-Webster doesn't show the word truggy at all. So it's not a word at all it's a combination of words. And if you think about what does your definition of a truggy have to do with a truck. There is nothing truck about a baja vehicle, except the fiberglass body look to is. At least my definition actually has some truck left to it. The whole point of this was to stir up some excitment about my new project. Geez man you take the fun out of everything.
