Don's 2012 Sporty - BWD AX-10 Wedge Low Pro with NEW Proto Steering - More Pics!!!

Re: Don's 2012 Sportsman Rig - BWD AX-10 Wedge Low Pro Bodiless!

Not where we come from.:flipoff:

Lucky! :flipoff:

Yup, I know and I've been watching the rules for this. Regardless, this chassis and some other stuff I'm rolling out will fit just fine in our rules with rock solid performance characteristics...and I'll have the cabs available for our non-compers and overseas friends that get to keep bodiless in sporty.
Main goal being to do our best to give everyone what they want and/or need to suite their Shafty desires :)

Nice! I figured you knew but just wanted to make sure. "thumbsup" I'm not too pleased about it (but I also hate bodies), but will fully support the class either way. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Re: Don's 2012 Sportsman Rig - BWD AX-10 Wedge Low Pro Bodiless!

I guess I may have to stop comping then because I love this bodiless look. "thumbsup"

Re: Don's 2012 Sportsman Rig - BWD AX-10 Wedge Low Pro Bodiless!

Rules schmooles.... It's a love/hate thing.... I do wish "they" would leave their "thoughts" out of the body/bodiless area. I mean seriously.....1" windshield or 1/2" windshield. Is that REALLY going to make or break somebody? I've yet to see a body make a difference either way on the outcome of a comp.

But I digress.....

Sweet news, Don!

I can't wait to get an ax10.

Re: Don's 2012 Sportsman Rig - BWD AX-10 Wedge Low Pro Bodiless!

OK, I'm gonna let this out now instead of wait. Would you all prefer the stock 5/16" delrin turned uppers or pay a lil more and get my new 3/16" (with 4mm ends) ti uppers for this kit? Reason I'm asking is I'll have my ti uppers for this kit ready on Friday.

Re: Don's 2012 Sportsman Rig - BWD AX-10 Wedge Low Pro Bodiless!

well TI uppers.. duh.. lol

how much is a little more?

Re: Don's 2012 Sportsman Rig - BWD AX-10 Wedge Low Pro Bodiless!

How much is this going to cost? I would like to know how much to set aside for it.

Re: Don's 2012 Sportsman Rig - BWD AX-10 Wedge Low Pro Bodiless!

All of the pricing answers are here Results for Crawler Parts:Axial AX-10/SCX-10

No cabs are listed at this time...but will be soon for those wanting one.

Here's some more pics...tore my rig down to do step by step pics.
