So, i drove down to Spokane earlier this year for some south of the border shopping, on the way to the hotel i saw 3 massive stores, called "Hobby Lobby" the stores were HUGE, i was like DAMN, these guys know how to do RC right!! those stores are awesome, only to enter the store and have it be a big craft store, totally killing my high... i found a few RC stores around the town, but they were pretty small/limited...

Anybody else had this happen? you think you found the biggest, most epic rc shop ever... only to find out it's a lame craft store?

Yup!

For me it was Hobby Lobby. Still a cool store, but totally not what I wanted it to be.

Hobby Lobby does have a RC based store, it's in Michigan somewhere, there's a link on the Hobby Lobby site to it and the details.

They are not related. That Hobby Lobby is a Great place to get uncommon airplane stuff. My fave plane came from there.

Yes, Hobby Lobby should change their name to "Dust Collectors R Us" or something similar.

yea hobby lobby is like that but you can find alot of cool scale stuff at that place,, my favorite thing to do is walk in and ask somebody where the doll house section is,, just to see there reaction lol

WHAT ??, can't a craft hobby be some body's hobby ???? doesn't have to be R/C related does it ???? :lmao: ....

That crap gets annoying when people walk into a hobby shop looking for sewing or framing supplies only to find rc stuff, model kits, and trains then ask "Isn't this Hobby Lobby?" :???:

Yes, Hobby Lobby should change their name to "Dust Collectors R Us" or something similar.

Or "Stuff That Will End Up in the Attic/Basement in 6 Months".

And for Pier 1: "Stuff Your Wife Can't Live Without But Doesn't Know Why".
