Bought some nice rc parts when I was on vacation in Italy. From a nice guy who live up in the Umbrian mountains. He calls his company Frese e Ferie, and many of the Italian TTC winners use his parts.

But since I bough them I have been vacationing in other places like Bulgaria where we did some awesome ATV offroading.

But on to the build.

Got most of the axles together today, with O/U gear and stock lockers, planning on Holmes torqemaster spools it they don't hold up.
Just missing some VVD shafts from VP, was planning to use some I had in another rig, but concluded that it was no point in making a great running rig a a non runner. So orders some new ones, that's put this project on hold until arrival.

The shocks is traxxas big bore with losi springs and delrin spring retainers. It uses WB 8 shafts with massive stainless steel reinforcement. Hitec 7950 with home made rx bypass lower links in brass and upper in aluminum.
Stainless steel beef tubes in front and brass in the back. The back ones was really snug and perfect fit. Love the brass lockouts in the rear perfect fit and good weight to it.
The brass chubs and knuckles is custom made to the VP methods I'm using to fit exactly my rims and hubs.

I'll think I'll have to put down a cupple of smiles [emoji3] [emoji3]

Ohh, forgot to update this thread.

Have been running this for about a year now, and it have been amazeballs!
Here is a video of it last autuum.

Since then it has had a body and chassis change.
But more of that in the next post ;)

And here is the pictures of the new chassis and body.

It's a Switchback chassis, and painted the deadbolt body with the pactra Inca gold colour.

All brass parts is made by a Italian mill operator and crawler guru, called Igor Albini. You can find him on Facebook, but it would be a lot easier if you know Italian, since he does not now so much English, if any.
