Downhill speed control is 'touchy'

On flat or uphill crawling, controlling perfect smooth speed of my crawler is no issue.

But on medium to steep downhills, my crawler gets rather touchy with the throttle. As hard as I try, if my crawler is in a steep downhill yet grippy postion with drag brake doing its thing, it sort of jumps forward a few inches like would of done a light quick jab on the throttle stick but I don't. My throttle movement on the stick can't be any more gradual.

I'm wondering if this is a side effect of the drag brake not having smooth transition from drag brake on to brake off.

Is there any way to have drag brake slowly release and sort of coast downhill?

Running a FXR Pro with drag brake set to 9 of 11 on a 6lbs moded ARTR AX-10.
