Although some is not "real" video it is intense and makes you stop and think.

oh wow!:lmao: my mom showed me this vid like a week ago. it makes you paranoid more then anything. you dont want people to start driving like old ladys now do you?:ror: i think the footage is from some cheap japanese horror flim as well, like a final destination type thing:lmao:

There were plenty of those in that vid that were real.

You fuks that are laughing about it...grow up, doesn't matter if they were fake or not, get the point?

Pull the stick outta your rear man... some people deal with serious situations through humor.

Honestly, do you think a video will change anything? Or even make someone stop to think about something like this???

yeah i guess so. when my grandfather passed away i let im go with a hat i put on his head that said "id rather be in my garage" :ror:

I was almost hit TWICE today while riding the road bike - in less than half a mile.

Both times I had stopped at a 4-way and waited for the car with the right-of-way to go before I proceeded.

Both times the car BEHIND the car with the right-of-way decided to try to follow along and go through the intersection without stopping when they pulled forward.

Not good for the guy on the bike. 2nd incident was close.

This video needs to be shown across the nation daily on TV to let people know what will and can happen. I have a 7 year old son and if any thing happend to him due to any dumb **** behind the wheel that caused the accident, they by sures hell would wish they had died befor i got too them, i would pull somebody out of the drivers seat, beat them to a bloody pulse and leave them in the street.

If you think its funny, YOU are one of them jack asses!
I carry a ball bat in my car for such events...

I ask again... do you seriously think that would change anything???

Look at what TV, movies, how parents act in front of kids or treat them... As a whole society we have become desensitized to the violence and brutality. This won't change a darn thing man!

The only people who get it already do, and the ones who will have parents who will instill that level of situational awareness in them. The rest... a lost cause.

*Note for you special people out there* : I'm not blaming any of the media, just pointing out how things have changed. It should be apparent in the big picture that things are more violent, and personal responsibility and accountability are almost none existent in the general populous.

Once again I will ask, if it is funny to a person what makes them a bad person? So just because they use humor to deal with tough/tragic situations they are a jackass? Why do they need to connect on a personal/emotional level to get the message of the film?

Like I said man... no one is shocked by violence any more... Look at your e-tuff threat of a baseball bat for proof! Here we are on a "family" board and you are typing out threats of violence with a blunt instrument for all to see...

Like the guy in the video who only looked ONE way before crossing the street, you will one day come walking up to some dude with that bat who brought something bigger and badder to the fight...

Just something to ponder

That right there is why I won't ride a road bike... too many idiots out there who aren't paying attention and/or have no situational awareness.

No thanks, I'll stick with XC trails and lift access DH.

I've been driving a shuttle van for about one year now, roughly 7 hours per day, four days a week. I can't even tell you how many idiots I've had to avoid on the road, main culprit being cell-phones, second culprit being just plain stupid behavior.

I must say that it would appear almost every one of those scenarios were freak accidents, or 100% stupidity. This is why you should have to pass a general aptitude test, and have an IQ above 40 (a comedic number) to be able to drive a vehicle. Driving on southern California freeways daily I see things that could cause accidents like this almost every single day. It is amazing to me how many people on the road that are COMPLETELY clueless and terrible at driving.

end rant.

That toll booth one, near the end.... WTF? Feel sorry for the cashier.

Yes, there are some inconsiderate farktards on the road everywhere with their heads firmly implanted in their arses.

I noticed there were a few of the older Australian road safety ads in that mix. They can be quite graphic, particularly the Victorian TAC ones. Which is a good thing, but unfortunately the "It won't happen to me" mentality reigns.
An example:

Its not a E-TUFF threat when im standing over you holding a base ball bat kicking the shit outta you. ITS REALITY! and not that fake shit homo crap you see on tv either. THAT is the problem now days, nobody LIKES to hear the TRUTH! You probly dont have the comprehension to understand this. thats why YOU "THINK" is just a threat.... its reality bub not the internet...

And yeah i think it is a problem if somebody whants to chuckle something SERIOUSLY TRAGIC off. thats like if a 4 year old got shot and killed due to an asshole that though it would be funny to shot a gun into a crowd! and you think its funny?!?! What if that was your little sister or brother. or you son or daughter? huh, you think its funny? No its not, you yourself should be shot hung and beat with stones in a public area! how about if you kid or or close family member got ran over buy a car and was killed, and IM standing on the sidelines LAUGHING MY ASS OFF!! Drinking a beer enjoying the ****ing show? you think its funny now?

All the violence you see on TV/movies is consequence-free. You see the guy weaving in and out of traffic, blowing red lights, causing crashes trying to evade the cops or catch the bad guy, but you never see the poor bastards he wrecked sitting in their cars all bruised and bloody waiting for EMS to show up.

We don't see people in cars; we see cars and they're all in my way and I wanna go go go and fuk that Camry in the center lane. Half the time people don't even stop for an accident.

Situational awareness doesn't even come into play. Normal freeway procedure is to get about 1-1/4 car lengths off the bumper of the car in front of you and defend that gap, I guess because you fail if somebody gets in front of you. I won't run in a fawking train like that, I'd rather get passed, and I'll drop 5-10 mph to accomplish that. Get the fuk off my tail.

All the PSA's in the world ain't gonna help. People don't learn, people don't change.
