I used the 6 channel version without giro for the first time this weekend. First impression, it is great!

The responsiveness was sufficient for a couple of saves (the crawler almost rolling over) and the overall quality is fine. I use it on a SCX10 II with an additional small ESC to drive my servo winch, I control the second esc with the 4rd channel. That’s a 3 position switch, which works fine.

The 3rd channel is used to switch a graupner 4 channel I/O switch for my lights, this way I can switch my foglights and the main beam separately.

All in all it is great and I’m happy with my 17 euro purchase. :ror:

I have the orange chrome version of this radio with the Gyro receiver. Its super comfortable in the hand. My only beef with it is the plastic wheel, but i'm going to modify it to have a foam wheel. I also have the Flysky GT3B as well and its great too. Main issue with the Flysky is the LCD goes off too quickly and its so easy to accidentally hit a button. My goal with the build I used the Dumbo 6CH with was something that was simple and would have a lot of flexibility. I really like that it has different buttons and switches for the other channels. I like channel 3 that its a button like on the GT3B, but I also like that it has a real 3-position switch! I can see that working well with the DIG unit for the Capra or SCX10 III. I've not seen anyone doing that yet, but looks to be a good option. FOr a crawler the GYRO really is not needed, but I got it anyways. Binding the receiver for my Element went perfectly as well. My TRX4 Sport kit has the Flysky GT3B and I recall I had to do the bind process multiple times before it would take. The Dumbo bound on the first try. I think mine out the door at Banggood was about $20. That's a steal. Oh, and I found one of the Element stickers that goes right over the Dumbo RC on the battery tray! In my opinion this is a RadioLink unit through and through. I've not tested the distance, but i've heard RadioLink has one of the furthest distances

I have a Radiolink gs4 and it doesn't bind with dumborc receivers unfortunately:cry: so much about being a Radiolink

Thats interesting that they wont bind. What i've read is "DumboRC" is a large Chinese manufacturer and they actually make the radiolink radios. THey decided to make a "house brand" radio line and thats what the X6 and X4 are.
