Dune Ready Jeep Rubicon

[CRUZ CONTROL]

I started my first scaler build . I thought i would give it a try so here it is and if anyone has any ideas along the whay let me know . I started with a new bright jeep rubicon bodyand a black mfm chassis .


I am planning to use a set of tlt axles and a set of axial beadlocks with imex swamp dawgs .

I was working on it some more and i got the trans skid plate all finshed upand mounted in the chassis and i also decided to go with a axial trans but i had to grind about a 1/8 if an inch off the motor mount plate to get it to fit in side the frame rails , not much room in there ."thumbsup"

got a little more done since my last post i didnt like how the grill looked with it all filled in so took my dremel tool and some small files and cut out all the extra plastic to make it look more scale and then i put a hpi savage bumper on the front of it for a bumper but i think it would look better with a winch instead of the lights so if anyone has a wild willys winch i would be willing to buy it just pm me .



also i had to cut a small section out to get clearance for the spur gear on the axial tranny.

got my tlt axles all together and ready to go in it tower hobbies would ship there products any faster i ordered a set ot high lift springs as well as some other odds and ends they should be here tomorrow.also im running axial beadlocks but i had to get rid of that green color on all thr rock rings so i glass beaded them an then i hand sanded them with 320 grit sand paper to make them look like there brushed.

Ok i cant hold it back anymore i got a driver today at toys'r'us and hes a bit of a drinker as you can see he and his girlfriend are both kicking back a cold one .8)

9-3/4" WB is WAY too short for a 2.2.

New update my springs came in from tower hobbies and i did the one set of mounts for each set of springs . Still waiting on my shackles that i had mikekx65 should be here shortly , I also shaved the tlt axle cases down to make them look more scale and made custom delrin lift blocks for a little more lift .

the shocks are going to get turned ona lathe later this week to make themlook more scale as well there just on there to se how they look right now , and keep the coments coming it keeps me going on it and they always help.

Sure if you want to think that , from the way i heard it from john she was lookin thru his truck and she found it behind the seat. I guess she was snooping around in his truck she has been thinking hes been cheating on her ? who knows anymore:roll:
