DV Camera suggestions?

right now I'm thinking of either the JVC GZ-HD7 or Sony HDR-SR1..any other suggestions?

I have the JVC Enviro (or something) 20g unit. Works good for me. Battery dies quick, get an extended pack. I also had a hell of a time finding a converter that would work.

Sorry, not meaning to jack this thread .....but Harley what are you using to convert?

For what it's worth...I am also using a JVC Everio 30Gb. Work great and takes some good high quality video. I am not ready to just the HD yet.

Yeah I read that those are good, but don't those still use mini DV tapes?
