DX3R Aux channel/dig switch set-up??

did you change the framerate? im 99% sure thats your problem. raise it!
thank you, you are 99% right sir maybe even 100% (11) works with a bit of hum.

Yes, go up to 16.5 it should work fine after that
I will try 16.5 to see the difference....11 worked but I think I have to fine tune the travel etc. getting a hum I cant quite get rid off, I will keep fine tuning

I really appreciate you smarter/more experienced guys helping me out, thank you much"thumbsup"

I run on 11 frame rate too...my HS55 does do some humming while "engaged" with the dig switch..but it seems to work great so far.

I got it straight by going to 11, but my steering servo hummed. I set it @ 16.5 they both work ok.
I set my travel @ 35%
While testing the rig on the floor, 20 minutes and the rig stopped moving.
ESC works, both servos still work. I think the Radioshack swithces dropped a duece:?:

I feel you it took me almost and hour to tune it just right, and burnned 2 servo's while doing it :lol:.

I got it just right just need to tweak it, cause am having to roll the rig backwards then foward for it to grab into 4 wheel drive.

well I guess I.m lucky to get it going without burning either of my servos. I think the radioshack switches are dead (I hope)
This system is in my berg, not my AX so the dig is instant on and off, no gears or notches to lock or unlock.

I need some reliable heavy duty dig switches.... not the radio shack ones
I think thats my newest problem.

any suggestions?

I must give those a try for now;"thumbsup"
eventually I would like to get another FXR if the DX3R will work with 2 escs.

Yotachump,
are you running the honeywell switches?
and how are they wired?

thanks.
oh the links! duh!

yeah, thats the same diagram I wired mine off. Except I have radioshack switches.
i cant beleive Im that rough on my rig that I cant get more than a battery pack before the switches die. i guess Im used to my Axial/HR dig
"thumbsup"

didnt work.....
went thruogh the bind process, steering works, but no dig servo movement

I am trying to figure this out too now.

I would try resetting your tx and than recalibrating it too.

try turning up the epa up a bit, maybe it is set too low??? keep the horn off till you get it ...

what category would that be in the list of stuff, ......sub trim? travel? expo?

thanks.

So you like 16.5 frame rate and travel at 35%????

What are some numbers for other stuff you changed that worked for you?

I am running hi tec 225 in dna?

I guess I have a little humming when I engage my servo. the servo is fine switching back and forth than 3rd or 4th time it hums....I wonder what I can do?

no th eservo isnt burnt. I solered up a newset of radishack swithces just to see and i got a couple of packs through it in the woods yesterday and the switces didnt fry. I think I was being a bit rough with it?

I am not sure but I did notice that changing the framerate on the radio changed the tone of the hum. it was bad @5.5 better @11 and none existent @ 16.5
I was told that the reason for all that is the fact that my dig servo is not digital. HS-65:?:

EPA's are in the "travel" menu

your travel % is totally gonna be dependent on how close or far away your dig switches are from the servo horn..so everybody's will be slightly different.

okay. What is the dig switch? Is this something separate? I am running dna chassis with ax tranny and goat system.

How do you know if you burned out your dig.

this is giving me hell....
