DX5C vs hacked GT3C

My only real long term experience with Spectrum is the older DX3C and DX3R I use for my BND Losi Micros, but I've run hacked GT3B'S for roughly 8 years without a failure.
As far as the UI and button layout, you'll only have to program it once, and once you learn the menu it's not bad, as far as the button layout your needs are relatively basic for a transmission and lockers. IMO it will work fine especially for the $$
