E.R. Visit (SUCKS)

The following site may be taking it to an extreme, but some people have reported good luck "dissolving" the gallstones at home. My wife had a small bout with them a year or so ago. I forget what exactly she did, but they went away after a while. A simple change in eating habits can do wonders.

Search google for home remedies. Just remember to spell it right.
If I remember correctly, one of them involves lemon juice & vinegar.
A lot of people will pass off a home remedy as voodoo, or a crock, but you might as well try it. Hell, researchers now say that a teaspoon of honey does more good than a cough drop. So, your mom WAS right.

I have had an endoscopic procedure done before (well, two-appendix removal and lateral menicus shaving), and on the appendix-removal, during recovery, I would suddenly get these gas build-ups that were really sharp pains, not excrutiating, but they weren't fun. With the tech. available today, and the skills that med. teams have, I wouldn't sweat it. Be sure you stay away from foods that are hard/come out hard-it's hard on the, umm exhaust system. Everytime I went #2 after the appendix removal, it felt like it was covered in spines. I know it's gross, but just giving you a heads up. Best of luck to you, and remember, if the opening/surrounding feels warm, that may be a sign of infection.

hope all goes well bro. i hate hospitals too! i refuse to go! i am not going without a fight!!!!

Dude I hope everything goes well. My mother had problems in the past with her gal bladder acting up from small stones and they eventually took it out. When they did, the doctor said he cut it open and when he shinned a light on it, he said it was like looking into a bag full of crystals. I don't think, or hope, they won't have to do the same for you.

She said its the worst pain she's been in before... and hearing that and being through everything we went through, I really wish the best man. I'm hoping for the best for you. "thumbsup"8)

I'm the same way. I've had nothing but bad experiences in hospitals and DO NOT like going to them.

I'm sorry to hear about having to have surgery:-(,
but at least you finally figured out what the problem is.
I don't like hospitals either, it's just a good place to get sick!
Best wishes for your procedure and to a fast road to recovery!
May the force be with you...
