Hi

Are there any good ways to simulate/replicate emergency vehicle lights? eg a police/ambulance light bar, or a recovery vehicle amber light?

Lets assume it can be done with LEDs and clever electronic controls, how about more of a challenge? What about proper revolving lights?

has anyone bought lights from http://www.schmidt-teknik-hobby.dk/index-engelsk.html? He has some very impressive looking light bars, and I wondered if anyone had impressions of using them with a tamiya 1/10 kit? power, controlling etc.

I have a set of Boomerang type Police lights instock >>> http://www.genkidoridori.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=261

do you have measurements for that one?

I like the ebay ones, seems nicely customisable, but again no dimensions.

The one above is as follows

Length: 102.6mm
Width front to back of boomerang shape: 38.0mm
Height: 18.3mm

Tis made for 1:10 scale.
