ohh boy, this set up is so ballz to the wall awesome that it's been banned in Canada! (at least in B.C., according to Travis)

I must know why Travis needs a screen door spring on the rear of that hunk of crap...

yeah thats really overcomplicated and silly. is it just a bunch of kitbashed parts?

them front shock shafts have to be screaming in pain.

I'll admit out of all the bs there, kinda nice to be able to put faces to names I've known here for ever lol

Sultan of springs talking about sebs rc crappy canti setup
" He has ppl all over north america getting him to build them cantilever rigs all done out like 1500-2000$ including wraith kit and ppl buy his design"

Lmao

His reply on the door spring...

"The long spring acts as a limit strap and sway bar it holds tention on the suspension without it my rig sits 1.5inches higher and flops with them it squats the weight of the axle lets it droop the spring stops it from going too far and binding driveline and at ride hight holds it steady so it doesnt torque flex or flop over when i get bored and start drifting it or wrapping doughnuts cause its 4s brushless also it weighs in at 10.6lbs with batteries in it"

So, long story short...too much flex, and too soft of a suspension equals a bad time. Two more replies and he said he built it for one tire of flex....oh my.

" Also i will say this my build was for stability and travel flex is a byproduct of lots of travel that why i incorporated the long spring i wanted it to sit low and drop out when needed"

"And altho the weight of my rig can make it flex like that is more for 1 tire worth of flex on each axle at same time to get over tight close together rocks i can climb the valley between them and flex evenly on both sides while the rig stays fairly level"

1 sale a year and I bet he is happy.

I also bet he gets that sale each year.

Plenty of ignorant, wealthy, hipsters willing to drop big $$$ to believe they are cool.

1. Punctuation would help
2. At least he knows why the majority of us don't run suspension abominations like that

I think the Sultan is going to pull a Sharky. Keep talking, make excuses, halfway commit to a comp, then be a no show. Funny that he still has me on ignore.

Says he is not a club member but, District 604 rc holds the comps near him."thumbsup"
I dont see any info on that club.

i dont get why 'they' make it soooooo complicated. you could properly setup a single cant and shock with the correct geometry and get close to 90 degrees of axle articulation.

i think these are the same guys who have at one point either tried or considered putting a squirrel fan on thier cold air intake to get a f.i. setup.
