Facepalm facebook fail finds

anyone else see the post of the guy looking for GPM parts and saying that he doesn't want vanquish because, and I quote: "They don't offer the cool colors like everyone else." ?

:lmao::lmao:

So many SCX10s with oversized tires....I have a stock drivetrain with 5 lbs of wheel weights on 2.2s and Baja Claws, why do I keep stripping gears?...

I love this thread, reminds me of when I first got my scx10 and I stuffed the shocks with Vaseline to stiffen them :lmao:

Nothing like the pink, purple and green parts to top off that scale build.

The truck in his profile pic could be a cool honcho. As long as he keeps (insert obnoxious color here) axles away from it. Plus, I built a sc18 out of GPM alloy parts. If the fitment is the same, as soon as he hits the trails his servo will take a massive dump due to the binding/play. I know it took longer for me to get the shimming and shaving done than the shipping time from china.

Gpm was ok at one point, the old hpi and tamiya cc01 stuff wasn't bad. Massaging parts happens more than it should in this hobby.

spending some time in the nest, I has been enlightened to the brim. Every thing rotates around the 'FLEX'. As if flex is the queen bee there.

Question - Scx10 dingo or scx10 g6? Cant decide

Ans - ...couple of answers advising G6

Ans - G6 Body is more flex friendly! Dingo body and flares do get in the way of travel.

All I can say is..
I'm glad I found this Forum First..

Even Tho I like the Idea of just removing my shocks for max Droop and Lowest COG.. LOL..

Yes, x 9000+, as funny as all this is(this thread has had me on FB more in the past 2 days than the last 2 years), I am so thankful for this site and the community inside.
