That Revo is just broken between the rockers and trans, seen it happen like that on both ends of the1/16 trucks in that spot plenty of times and a couple times I'veeven seen the 1/10 trucks break in that same spot. I'll bet he just figured on making a flex shot out of it before fixing it.
