fake rocks??

do a search on google
"preformed plastic ponds"

i crawled with every tire i had and traction was no problem.
and if you need to alter the pond just get a heat gun and bent
it the way it needs to go,just becareful the plastic is gonna be hot!

glad i could share with you guys!"thumbsup"

i was thinking bout that! do you think they will hold up a super? my "babyma's" dad works for a place that makes those pond molds. i could prolly build a whole course out of them if they can hold the weight.

i put 4 of my crawlers on it no problem.
the plastic is pretty thick.
it would hold, but would it fit?
for a super, good lord youd need a bunch to make a course!

You should have them custom make a couple different styles just for rock crawling and sell them :)

i asked him bout them yesterday.... the ones they make are the large pond molds and have no sort of rock shape to them. its more like big verticle stairs. oh well. i did find the waterfall piece like he showed at home depot

Sounds like the ones my Local Menard's carries, I'll have to make the trip over to Lowes and HD on Sunday or Wed next week and have a look around.

Picked these bad boys up yesterday at Lowes. The regular price $170 for the set, on sale for $42. The are a little tall but I can easily cut them down.

Looks like winter is the best time to buy these because they are trying to get them off the shelf. I have 6 pieces now and they were all on sale.

instead of doing cement like posted earlier, id just fill them with expanding foam. that way it would be easier to cut / glue multiple different configurations with just one mold.
