Farmertom's XR10 Chaotic Switch

exactly "thumbsup"

The screws are of Fastener Express.
Unfortunately, I have never found orange aluminum screws.

If someone has an address for it, I would be happy for a tip.

I have never seen orange anywhere either... I'd say just get some raw aluminum screws from Fastener express and than send them to someone who can anodize them :) That would look pretty sick although I do have to say the red does go pretty well on that "thumbsup"

I was talking about the VP parts..Thomas knows the way a woman thinks...its all about bling:ror::twisted:

LOL ok... When I hear hardware I think of the screws no the parts ;-)

Meanwhile, I got from a friend a set Ti links.

And apparently, the switch works so well.
Yesterday we had the SMC "Winter Comp" in the Crawler Hall Wil Switzerland.
See for yourself

Hey man you got a badass rig i was jw whats your link setup?
Thanks zack
bought the set of link to a friend.

I have installed a slightly different set of links in my crawler.
The lengths are identical to the link set of the website by Chaotic Crawlers.

The rear upper links but are bent differently.

On the Westcoast Shootout Comp could see that the XR10 also works without Knuckle Weights.

So I started to optimize the weight of my switch.

To save weight on the rear axle, I have changed the gearbox by the originals.

Looks good. It is funny how we all spend the big money to get all the aluminum pieces only to realize there is more advantage to the original lighter parts:roll: I have been doing the same thing.

Thank you

We'll see if the modification to the plastic parts really make sense.

It was KILLER having you & Manu out for the WCS. Bummed Dani couldn't come but you guys represented well. BTW Was that you touching my butt in the pizza joint or the big chick behind us? SOMEBODY was touching my butt.

See ya at the next one.

I got felt up too....that was the chick sitting behind us. Steve said he got the same...but he was sitting closer to that chick's boyfriend.

Did something again optimized on the switch.

First I turned off the rear hubs.
But somehow that did not really fit.
Did it but the rear wheels, modified, so I can go back smaller hubs.

1774g driving weight with 15g KnuckleWeight per side
