Nice lookin' axles there man. Are you trying to figure out where to mount the links on the axle itself, or where to mount them on the chassis?

I dig the brushless idea............but you may find its a lil' bit on the "Too fast, Not enough torque" side of the motor spectrum.

not really, brushless have a lot of torque if geared down, and also have that high end you need for some wheel spin and MUD BOGGIN!

What BL system are you gonna use??? Its gonna have to be senored cause a senorless with just sit there a "cogg" when you try to go up somthing... just my 2 cents

and NICE axles man...

yes its a sensored Schulze mcd controller and Plettenberg HP300/20/A4 , a low rpm motor , 740 rpm/V@20amps and 1.6in-oz/amp
calculated speed 7-8mph@6cells

and Jake , pm me if you need a 12t M1 pinion :)

Get a shot straight on from the side with the suspension at ride height, and not flexed. For a shafty, its a good idea to have your uppers and lowers at least the same height, or have your uppers longer even. Its also good to try to have your uppers flat.

Damn thats wide! What is the wheelbase now? It looks way short for what it is.

You might want to try to raise the axle end of your uppers some, that will flatten them out also, since it looks plenty low.

I think a 425mm wheelbase is ideal... Your wheelbase now is way too short for how big that thing is! It'll be wider than long

Also, 55* of flex per axle is nearlyt twice what you want ;) Aim for like 30 maybe 35* per axle.

i think i can go to 420mm wheelbase without new links
and the shocks will limit the flex to 35* per axle or 40 :)

if the shafts making problems , i will build some Clod style steel axles :)
