We can confirm that during routine testing, a Stingray was involved in a one-car accident.

During evaluation, the driver caught the inside tire caught the edge of the pavement during a tight corner, leading to the accident. Thankfully, no one was hurt, the car received only minor damage, and no citations were issued.

Best,

Monte

geez. having a job at GM AND high enough up the totem pole to get to drive the unreleased stingray. id love to hear that first phone call he made to his superior.......and former boss:shock::mrgreen:

btw looks AMAZING in that blue:twisted:

Looks for it on craisglist soon!!
Minor cosmetic damage to the frame and suspension. Don't worry that twist in the frame is normal and who needs to close the drivers door.

It does look pretty slick. Read about it in Car&Driver or one of the other car mags.

Those tail lights ruin it for me. :x

I can usually look passed one huge glaring flaw in most cars, like in this case being made by GM, but I cannot get over those tail lights.

have you guys seen the "original" style body kit?

That is a manufacturers plate. See the M in the middle of the plate.

Someone isn't going to be happy. I do like the blue.
Still not in love with the tail lights though.

so a camaro and a vette had a love child?

I think Ferrari and Viper made a "donation" or two as well"thumbsup"

have you guys seen the "original" style body kit?

Much Better, now to put a bigger back window in it..................

If I was going to own one, that would be installed before it left the lot.

Ditto

yup, they should realize by now that 2 round objects next to each other with concentric circles is what we want!

Exactly!

it's missing the bumper or something. The 69 is just sleeker.

Weirdly, I kinda preferred the later, smog era rubber bumpers on those Vette's:???:
