First creeper, first crawler.

First post so please let me know if it is in the wrong place. Just got my first crawler. Venom creeper safari rtc. Read the sticky on it and man what a wealth of information. Currently it has an hpi 27 turn and a stock venom speed control. 6 cell 2000 nimh, and a futaba 9c 2.4 for control. Overkill I know but I already have 2 of them lol. Need to change the motor battery and speedo as the combo sucks runs hot, brakes are minimal, and reverse is hard to engage.

Does anyone know of a place to get new diffs? Even a mod to put in another brand of diff. Thanks.

Replaced the motor today with an axial 55 turn. More to come.

No more overheating motor, Yay! Truck is loads easier to drive now. Goes much slower, but that's what I wanted.

I am having fun with this rug, but I can't help but think about how much more fun it would be to run it with some other rigs. I need to find somewhere to go run with a group. Great thing is, I drive a truck for a living so I can get to most places easily enough.
