I will post picture later today.

Oh and everyone's right. this is an expensive hobby.

Here are some poser shots of my truck. I burnt out the stock 27T today while on a trail. Luckily I ordered a 20T motor that I should be getting early next week.

I would still like to lift the bumper, fix the front lights, and waterproof the electronics and at the same time marine grease the diffs and transmission.

Good start:thumbup:
I grew up in a 79 f150 that my grandfather owned, it was the ranger xlt 4x4 manual that was painted orange and I had a 78 f150 custom 4x4 but automatic in high school as well that was black/silver.

Mine is based off an scx10 as well and being fitted for a flatbed now and soon to be sporting a custom sticker by standzmond, so this an old pic

That's a sick ride man. I like the look. what kind of wheels are those and what do you have in the bed area to hold your tire up like that?

Here's the 79 I built for my dad. I have similar memories of my pops 74 from when I was a kid.

Hey there. Sorry, I forgot to sub to your thread and forgot about it:rolleyes:
Thanks, it took a year to get it to where it was in the pics.
I cut the bed out amd made a drop bed, then I used the spare tire holder on the honcho(you got one too) and used some scrap aluminum links left over from making links to lift the spare mount up higher, longer screws and that's it..easy:thumbup:
