ok i have been interested in using leaf springs
on my rig. my truck isnt going to have them for a while
but until then, i am doing a trailer so i can experiment.
i made my own leaf springs because i couldnt be bothered
waiting and had some stuff lying around. i need to get
some brazing rod and flux really to go any further but my
question is this: how do i mount my axle to the springs?
and the springs to the trailer? keep in mind its only a trailer
so i can use u bolts to hold the axle solid and just put
bearings in the wheels. i am assuming you can just make little
pins and braze them on to the chassis for the spring eyelets?
heres a little mock up pic. and yes im using and old kenwood
x over box as a trailer.:|

man you are awsome. i dont know where
you guys get some of these ideas. i am
going to have to fab most of it myself but
i got some ideas now. i tried some brazing with
propane and took 35 mins to get the steel
up to temp. i got mapp gas today but i need a different
top now. arghhh. anyway i devconed up some c shaped
hangers out of piano wire i bent. i took a photo but
fell a bit embarassed to post it. anyways heres what
i got atm. the other leaf isnt on because of some issues.
