im debating on running my new moabs withoutfoam and put them on beadlocks.....im running swamp dogs right now on my bead locks with no foam....should i put foam in the moabs or run without ?

What I tend to do is grab some of that bed foam with like the finger things on it and cut it to fit and jam that in my beadlocks then it still gives it a aired down look but it still has foam to avoid beating the crap outta my wheels

I can see no reason to not use foam in your tires. Proper side wall flex must be maintained especially when side hilling. There again it is most important that you should make your decision based upon the terrain you travel.

What exactly are you looking for here? Give us some more info.

I ran my Moabs for awhile without foams on airtight beadlocks. The side hilling was a problem but the bugger trouble was with the tire just wadding up when in a bind. I went with the Creepy foams and like them much better now.

I have seen a few different setups, no foam on air tight beadlocks with valves, no foam with breather holes in beadlocks and foams where a better all rounder IMO....

what about foams in a dirt hawg rc18t on my ssmt that is driven only on rock? good idea?

Most everyone runs foam. You can cut star patterns, narrow them or trim them. I run Ace's Donuts uncut. I see no advantage to not run foam at all.

I run Kreepy's inserts in my tires. If you don't want to but them,I would just star cut the Moab foams. You definitely need some support when sidehilling.

What Moabs?

2.2 Moabs without some sort of support is just kinda stupid. They have no sidewall support at all. It really wouldn't take about 30 seconds of running them with nothing to see this."thumbsup"
