i was re-reading over the rules again, and i had a question
for the for sale section(to access it), is it 30 posts AND 3 months on the boards? or is it 30 posts OR 3 months? kinda confused me, never seen it with the "month" time limit

its 30 post and 30 days of being on here. when i first found the site i was just getting into rc crawlers. i didn't want to shell out the 20.00$ for full access but after i got the bug i went ahead and paid it. well worth the money if you ask me.

Our giveaway for a free star is a rare giveaway. All other giveaways are only for people that have a star. You can wait for a chance, but if you spend the money you will be glad you did. No waiting. The $20 helps keep this site going. If nobody paid any fees, I would say the site would not be as good as it is. So support this site all you can. I myself have learned alot on here from other guys."thumbsup"

The only giveaways you can enter without a star is the give a way to win a star. The giveaways for parts and another cool stuff you need a star and sometimes a little more. $20 is a drop in the bucket for all the info and drawings available on here.

ohh.. so a star is something useful lol, is there a way to get a star w/o the giveaways or paying $20? cause im saving up for an scx10, and im only 15(i dont really have a job yet.. so i cant really make the money i spent.. back.. if u know what i mean)

trust me you won't regret it if you buy a star, I had mine for almost a year didn't win anything but bought some killer stuff off the classifieds which was worth the star. Then I won 2 pairs of tires, then 2 weeks later won 2 more pairs so yeah I think I got my 20 dollars worth. I highly recommend buying one.

Just scroll down to the bottom of the forum page. The classifieds are down there. They have a Forsale area and a WTB area.

Look, I can sympathize with having very little money because you are saving up. But lets get real ok?

If you dont have the money to buy a star, you dont have the money to afford a SCX10 or the fact that you will eventually tear it down to upgrade the parts. Therefor the need to access the forsale thread is a dead issue!

This isnt a beating or a thrashing on you or any newbie reading this, But son! get a job, save your change and buy a decent truck that you can afford to have. In the mean while that you are saving and cant afford that star. READ, READ, READ! and when your are done reading. READ MORE!

Dont post stupid questions or short little comments to try and boost your thread count, Because then your next thread will be "Why are my posts being deleted". Take the time to ask questions and be supportive to the threads.

Think of buying a star as 1. supporting this website which costs money to exists and therefor enjoy. 2. being able to see what you can get in the forsale section, and 3. allow you to be a level up besides being stuck with "NEWBIE" as a standing among your peers.

Ohh and yes, there is lots of stuff in the forsale section and no you cant see like what unless you support the site or follow the rules.

its not that i dont have the money to buy a star or to go out and buy a scx10 because i have money to buy both. i was just trying to decide if i should wait for the scx10 rtr honcho to come out or buy something used. anyone know when the exact date is that they will be coming out on?

Just buy you a star, you wont regret it. Im 16, dont have a job, but im lucky enough to have almost 2,000 usefull... or somewhat usefull posts. I had a star but my subscription ran out, just having to buy more parts as of right now.
