OK , Summer/Fall Series Comp #1
When : June 20th 9 AM
Where : Lions Park

No Comp Fees

Its FREE

Several of us wont be there ,including myself, but its going to be a blast for the ones that make it.
I need someone to take pics , not just video Jud.
We will run this series for several months , I'm sure the LHS's will pony up some cool stuff for us at the end.
I will post flyers at the LHS's on Monday.

Ohh yea , we acuired a J Concepts sponsorship for this event. They sent us a banner and 3 $25 gift certificats to give away , we'll probably save em for the end and draw for em.

Yep i will be there with bells on and a pink tutu.lol jk trisha will be in a pink tutu that will be funny. if she dont wear it i can ground her. I will have my truck in disguise. with it's losi body on it.

We played down on the very south end of the park down by the fence on Saturday. Same out-cropping as was ran at our very first comp. There is enough transitions and climbs for two new courses for sure. The only problem is there is not really an area for a third course (that I know of)close by. But defiantly let Cody L. build a long course, he's getting really good at designing technical yet drivable layouts. If you guys can keep the courses open until Sunday afternoon that would be great:mrgreen:

how many people are going?
Im not bringing my tu tu, and please for the love of god Dont let jud wear one!!!

Hey cody what if thats all i have to wear. tights and a tutu and combat boots the new style sweet. While my bells are ringing i'm ready.

Oooo i think i just puked a little.......... Yep it kinda burns.....

Let me know of any problems as there was a little bit of assuming on this one. Times in bold had nothing written on the score sheets so you all got "time-outs" even if you pointed out with time on the clock. Low score for each course and judging bonus points are now added to your end of day score. Looks like you guys made some tough courses, or you all just suck:flipoff:

DELETED SCORES - SEE LATER POST

Hey thanks for postin the scores MR ROB. and we do suck because we make hard courses. We didn't have you here to lead to the finish.

Next time mike does not set courses!!!!
At least not the beginner portions, where im gonna stay!!!!

Great pics jud!

Ah come on cody it wasn't that bad trisha and little cody did good. and dez's wife did good to. she was a begginer.lol it was a good time bro. And thanks cody would have had alot more but forgot my camera and trishas batteries went dead.

I looked into the tie breakers in the rules...

3.13 - Tie Scores:

3.13.1 – Nationals Style: In the event of a tie score the competitor with the lowest score on the final course run is considered the winner. If both competitors are also ties of the final course then the second to the last course run will be used, and so on.

3.13.2 – Optional: In the event of a tie score the competitor with the lowest time on all courses will be chosen the winner over the other competitor(s) with the same score.

We were thinking that it was the quickest time in the last course that broke the tie. Guess we should read the rules a little more often.

I vote for the "Nationals Style" well because thats how they do it at nats. Which would mean that Cody L. would have won. What do you guys think?

Great pics jud!

You guys have said that before, but you keep handing me cones.... :flipoff:

The first five gates on the course I set (course two) weren't bad.

I'm OK with Nats style, but we had been using the time thing. Guess I can stop driving so fast now

EDIT: I was thinking about it, and I like the optional better. I know it obviously favors me in this case, but it takes the whole day of driving into account, instead of one course.

We didn't keep track of times real well on this comp, so maybe the Nats rule fits better now, but I think the total time would be better in the future.
