Front axle knocking when turned

When I steer my front axle in any direction and give it throttle, it makes a mild knocking sound and the wheels wobble. I took an axle out and when that joint is angled all the way it sticks and grabs as I turn the axle, but angle it ever slightly less and it's smooth. I figured okay I'm just turned too far so I put it all back together and tried throttle with the wheels turned very slightly and it still knocks and wobbles no matter what unless it's straight. It's not really noticeable unless I hold the crawler off the ground and watch the wheels. Is this normal?

The bully cvds will wear a lot from turning too much. And they are probably on the way out if its binding that bad. They do bind a bit just regularly though. But a strong servo and some proper end points should keep them alive.

It's a bully 2 RTR and I haven't had time to actually take it out yet other than at the park so it's basically new still. The steering range doesn't look that extreme, the tires come about 5mm away from the lower links. The servo I put on here is really strong so I guess it should survive.

If it just shakes when you give it a lot of throttle when fully turned. Thats normal. I would bring your end points in so that it doesn't allow it to turn quite that much.

I'm experiencing exactly the same behavior. The wheels are wobbling when turned close to maximum at left/right. More throttle - more wobbling and shaking. It's because of the CVD's. It's how they are designed ... not because something is broken.... not the best CVD's on the world...
Wobble/shaking is less noticeable if you remove the tire and put only the rim. But when u put the tire then it's getting worse.
