Short snow adventure today. This little rig just keeps me grinning.

-bryan

Hit it again today. My Axials are gettin' jealous...

Lost a lot of snow where I go to play, which means more rocks! Tested out most of my Scaler fab stuff (still hadn't drilled my front bumper for the winch).
Posing with some new spot lights, and some flexin'.

New skid plate is flat against the bottom of the chassis rails, making it able to clear obstacles I couldn't previously.

winchin' it!

Thanks for looking!

Mostly stock Sawback:
Traxxas XL-5 esc
Great Planes T-600 w/ 9t pinion
3s lipo
HD 1201 MG servo
Pro Line 1.9 Flat Irons on no name plastic wheels

Gimley was impatient waiting for the paint to dry so he rode it around the garage like a go-cart.

Once the paint was dry, he helped me apply the decals and other accessories. He's still not happy though, he can reach the shifter but the steering wheel is a little low. I told him we'd work on it.

Re-arranged the electronics to move the battery to the front. I cut down the receiver box to make it a battery tray and I used a battery tray and receiver box from an SCX10 to mount the electronics.

Painted the front window frame, looks so much better.

New driver and a 3Racing winch.

Hunter Dan (AKA Dick Daniels) took his girl, Hunter Ann (her AKA is TBD), for a ride this weekend at Modellbahn Ott's continuously improving scale crawler course!
