First "mod" was to get rid of the stock fuel cell in favor of a DSM Off-Road Scale Dual Battery Bed

I opted for the molded filler cap as the anodized red was not to my liking

I also installed the included shift lever set onto the transmission. It was sure nice of Vanquish to include this along with a black plastic fill plug for the rear axle

Does anyone know why Vanquish included the 2 random black plastic washers? It was the only thing the in the box that I couldn't understand...

Update!

It pains me to not be installing Vanquish parts on a Vanquish rig, but I refused to pay twice the price for bumpstops...

From H-Tech, I Installed functional bumpstops and steering ram clamps

Still to come are wheels and body panels. I'm still deciding on tires; probably see what the stockers are about
Batteries are in the mail, so no action shots yet

I believe the washers below are for the motor screws. This somewhat helps prevent the screws from digging permanent ruts into the plastic motor plate.

Thanks so much for the reply!!!!

I haven't messed with the transmission yet (gotta figure out electronics first) but I'll make sure washers get put on the motor screws. That is if I don't swap out the motor plate...

You're welcome. It may already have washers on there and it's possible these are just two extra in case the first get lost or damaged. A metal motor plate is a nice upgrade. It acts as a heat sink, eliminates the ruts that get dug into the plastic plate from the motor mounting screws, and it also adds a tiny bit of weight down lower.
