::Gagak Rimang:: SKUNKWORKS - RC4WD Trail Finder 2

So I finished mounting up the new wheels and tires.

In my opinion, while the Growlers are mean looking, the stock combo has a 'farm' look to it and has its place.

What do you guys think?

I said it once already and sat it again, looks great and love the tire upgrade. For sure gives it a attitude for sure. Maybe one day you can be done with the upgrades, no wait where's the fun in that uh.

Is there such a thing as being 'done' when it comes to upgrades?

Does look rather good in yellow.

Excellent work on the rusty bed too. "thumbsup"
Thank you gaz! Glad you like the weathering!

That looks amazing.
Thanks tuanies! And welcome to my thread hahaha

The little postman had a little gift for me today. And while I was sitting watching tv, SKUNKWORKS drove right up to me.

Took them Aisin and rear hubs out of their packaging.

Something about the contrast of the hubs against the white wheels and the stance of the vehicle in general.

What do you guys think? Let me know!

Did the TF2 used to come with the chrome on the grille? Or was this added. I'm trying to figure out how to do this to mine.
I believe this was added on. Just use silver paint marker and paint along the raised areas of the grill. Eazy peezy!

That's my plan. But yours looks factory perfect so I didn't know if they were made that way.

And here is a mockup.

All that's left is to paint in the details and the metal details.

Anyway, I need opinions from you guys! Do I leave it looking new or should I weather the interior?

Beautiful job on the interior. Your rust work is also awesome!

Oh! Roll bar, window guard and a roof rack!
After a few measurements and some drilling, here they are installed.

Sweet sweet CChand goodness! They're expensive but boy do they look good!

Now SKUNKWORKS is ready to load some stuff up!

There's still some things left to do before she is finally done!

So tomorrow, SKUNKWORKS Mk. II will finally be going for her proper maiden drive out in the trails.

Prepped her for tomorrow and I just can't resist taking another picture!

SKUNKWORKS maiden drive today was interesting to say the least.

While the lowered look is awesome, when faced with moderately difficult terrain, it turned out to be quite a challenge (duh!) due to the ride height.

But no matter! The look of dirty tires and muddy bumpers are the shiznit!

Enough rambling! Pictures speak a thousand words!

Driving up to meet with the rest of the group.

Back at the garage and making a general mess of it. Someone's gotta clean that.
