Verry cool, I think I saw the episode where he bought that. It was all smashed and was still worth like $150k.

i think they actually paid more like 400k didnt they?
i actually like the LED running lights. looks like they ditched the flip up headlights completly and went to louvers.

WOW, they did more to it then I had thought they would, color change, the lights and the wheels. Not sure I would have went that way on this type of car.
my favorite supercar by far...
i just saw that episode. they paid around 400k with the help from the rich blond dude that shows up on the show every once in awhile.
it takes alot of stones to buy a wrecked f40 and rebuild it, but it looks like they pulled it off and did a pretty good job.

I believe so....his name is Dennis Collins. And CB Jeeps is one of the shittiest "offroad" shops in the state. Everything is WAY overpriced.

been wondering where the show went.. turned out awesome!!!!!! dennis bought the car for 400k and richard from gas monkey was paying for the parts and labour to rebuild it.. im glad they could finish it.. cant wait for the show to be back on"thumbsup"

Ahhhhhhh ok I think 150k might have been the guesstimate on repairing it then or maybe I just have 150k stuck my head lol

^^ yeah i think that was the repair price your thinking of. they were hoping to make 200k profit on it.. if they took it to auction they are taking a huge gamble cuz you never know whats gonna come out of it, they could get 100k or 800k for it..guess we'll have to wait and see."thumbsup"

Am I the only one that thinks these guys are total hacks? I would much rather someone like Ring Brothers get their hands on that car.
I do 'sort of' like what they did with it - nice to see an F40 that isn't red.

Not a real big fan of these guys. Anyone who has done any work on a car that has sat in a barn or undriven for long period of time knows what it takes to get it going again. Picking the car up for 5k and turning it around for 20k to 30k is very uncommon. I'm sure most of it is just for the show....and that's fine, but no one pays top dollar for a car that looks like hammered dog shit and has had the repairs rushed through to get it to an auction.
