Hey guys, Just a quick question.. How many gates are on a typical competition course and what is the time aloud to complete it?

Thanks!

That's all up to the course builder and depends on the location and drivers present. I guess a run of the mill comp might have 10 gates per course and around 5 minutes to complete it. Of course that can be adjusted to suit the capabilities of the drivers present and to adjust for different locations. For instance one location might be difficult to walk on, and as a result difficult to navigate with the crawler so you might add another minute or so to the clock for that.

We at (SSRCC) generally run 10 gates @ 5 min. but when the finals course is set up we sometimes add bonus gates and add a min or two to the time.
It truly is up to the course designer or event coordinator. "thumbsup"

I agree with 10 gates and 6 min. Itty's point is my problem. Walking the terrain to wheel. I'm no freekin athlete. Ha! That extra minuet is good news!
