I got a set of the Series 2. These are nice and HEAVY. They look like they're pot metal and the lugs are molded into the rim, not separate. Haven't mounted them yet but I definitely like them for my Willys build.

Good looking wheels, but if they are heavy they aren't my cup of tea. I've joined the lighter wheel movement.

I thought my high mass wheels on my TRX-4 were pretty heavy at just over 100 grams each. I've been looking for some lighter replacements to get the strain off the drive-train. I figure that the brass weights with most of the mass below the axle line work better to lower the CG than heavy wheels in any case.

IMO, being heavy may not be the best performance factor, but they would be nice for a top heavy vehicle like a D110. "thumbsup"
