was there no one else on the bus...i mean really there had to be someone who would have tried to stop him...how could a bus load of people just let some get stabbed and dismembered..and you cant say they were all sleeping, cause if any one gets stabbed there going to scream out bloody murder. and how in the heck does he get body parts all over the bus without some one freaking out.

If a "mentally unstable" person kills someone, the mental condition shouldn't be an easy out for them. Whether or not they we aware of what they were doing, they should be punished the same and if anyone else would have done it.

How do the lawyers who defend people like this even sleep at night?
It was a bus full of people.
When it started they scattered and got off the bus instead of doing anything.
So the dude locked himself in the bus with the body and continued cutting.
He cut the head off, held it up, and showed it to those outside the bus and ate body parts while they watched.

They were in Canada.
In the US there are several states that don't allow CCW permit holders to carry on public transportation.
Georgia passed a law that allows CCW folks to carry on public trans, parks, etc.

WTF he dismembered the guy how can you not find someone guilty of that? Chuck him the a high security prison and trow away the key it should matter if he's mental. At least if he kills in prison he's killing the right kind of people. The idea that this guy could be released is terrifying.

I will also say..."Shaun Syndrome"...talking about it on a forum what you'd do is totally different than what you'd do if it would happen.
In know my first reaction would be to protect my family and get them moved. They are more important to me than a stranger, thats a true fact.
