I just noticed vanquish will be selling the red S8E shock caps and collars which I thought were going to be unique to the Origin. I'm kind of relieved to see this because I didn't really want red with my color scheme.

Will this have another release date?!?!?
Their initial target for delivery on the first run was 3 months. That would put those complete by late April. At some point after that we can expect they'll open them up for another round of orders.
Best bet to know when it happens? Watch the Tuesday VP live streams. Get the Shop app and save the truck to be notified when it is available.

Still waiting for shipping on mine. But saw mine up in Canada. well the Combo I ordered. A guy had the same and got his over the last few days and got it built. I must say I like my choices. lol

This came in my email on Thursday.
These came Wednesday.
Decided on Tires. Going to use the PL MT Baja Pro Xs I had on another rig that literally has only been on the ground for 5 minutes.
I put the Holds on that rig and the Baja Pros are ready for the Origin.
And I ordered what should be the last items for the main build.
Decided to install Dig on the Origin so ordered the dig in black, and grabbed a HH Micro servo and a Reefs arm for it.
These things should be here Wednesday or Thursday next week, and the Origin should arrive Monday or Tuesday...
Getting Real Close now.
Other than Interior and details, all the main stuff has been ordered and delivered, or is going to be here over the next week.

My order was put in 1-21, about 4:30 PST if that helps gauge where you're at in the process. last 3 were 028 on my order.
090 for mine. I expected to be towards the end.
It sounds like mine is one of the final 2 origins from the first round. Josh mentioned in the Tuesday live stream that 1 they need some more info from the purchaser (pretty sure i saw that guy chat with Dan on fb), and one other that sounds like it got missed, or overlooked, somehow. Being that I've had no further updates since the email in April i have to assume that's mine

Mine just showed up on Tuesday, it was already out for delivery when i noticed the shipping notification. Mine is number 207.
I haven't assembled much yet just a few wheels and mocking up a few panels.

As you can probably see I really need to clean up my workbench before I really dig into it.

That is a very nice color combo ... I have yet to dig into mine .. I have been gathering some electronics and add ons I want but there is no plan to do it soon... I was fast and jumped in the order the morning they were released in the first batch and got mine a while back ... I did go clear on it all around except for the wheels on bronze... and was able to snag #29 .... hard to believe they are selling like hot cakes and are probably upwards of 230ish released?

Been getting other stuff done and then cleaning up the RC/Vid area and adding a few cams and mixer to get better audio.
Do a few lives fixing some other things get any bugs out of the vid/audio setup before I dive into building the Origin.

I got the axles put together today. I discovered another binding issue on the front axle, specifically the included machined steering linkage. For those that dont feel this, just it cycle the linkage while rotating it. When it catches its a hard stop (for both sides/directions).
Theres a sharp edge on these rod ends that catches the under side of the knuckle when the rear side is rotated up.
Here's the scrape on the rod end, I took one for the team and forced it to scrape just to locate where it was catching, you're welcome
Here is where it contacts the under side of the knuckles
This isnt my first time having to clearance VP parts so they work with VP knuckles.
My solution was to file down and round over these sharp edges on the side of the rod end that was catching (for each side left and right).
The axles do look nice though
