Is it hurting me.

Does it hurt me that people choose to smoke weed, does it affectt me.

Yes, in two ways.

1. I'm paying taxes to support law enforcement of a controlled substance that really isn't any worse than alchohol.

2. If the pothead endangers the life of me, my family, friends or others.

Now reality is, generally, they smoke up at their own house, or at a friends house. They don't go out and drive or operate heavy machinary. so, really, is it hurting me...?

Now look at things from the other side. Think of all the tax money that would be generated from the sale.

I see alcohol as a much more dangerous drug than pot.

1. Pot doesn't alter your decision making(unless there is a blizzard in front of you and you're on a diet)

2. You can't smoke enough pot to die.

3. A girl is not going to get high, be in a coma, and be raped.

4. Other than inhaling the smoke(you don't have to smoke it), there are no long term bad effects on the body like alcohol.

5. It DOES NOT kill brain cells like alcohol. It has actually been proven to stimulate brain cells.(the monkey experiment about killing brain cells was disproven as soon as they released how the experiment was done)

Marijuana as a plant has great potential as a natural resource. It should replace using trees as paper(it only takes 3 months for hemp to grow-20 years for a tree), it can be used for fuel(Henry Ford's 1st car ran on hemp biofuel), many medicinal benefits, and many more.

Don't forget it used to be mandatory to grow hemp."thumbsup"

If you are against cannibas that is your choice! but there are alot of people who benefit from it. I am not talking about making money by selling it illegaly, or anything of that sense. What i am talking about is medicinal properties. my grandmother had glaucoma and was allergic to most pain killers at the time. Her health was deminishing and marijuana was the only thing she could take for her pain. She had never done any recreational drugs until her 66th year. She passed at 67 pain free.I share the same allergy with my grandmother. I also use marijuana medicinaly.
And before you start on your little rants on how stupid pot smokers are think about this, I have been a proud cannibas user since i was 16. I used to ride B.M.X. profesionally, there is a lot of pain envolved. cannibas is my pain killer. I have a beautiful house, two fun cars me and my wife love to go auto cross and run at track days, my wife is a professional model and custom metric motorcycle builder and racer. Not to mention she is one of the best welders you will ever see!
So to all those negative nancys out that say marijuana smokers are stupid you can sit and spin. I know more succesfull potheads than drunks.

Why is it that alcohol is the only legally allowed drug to alter your state of consciousness?

(My guess is that it has something to do with billions of dollars from the alcohol lobby contributing to the US government. After all, we do have a bureau for it. ATF anyone?)
