Help, Iphone!!

I was digging around in my closet and found my bros old Iphone, he said I could have it becuase he has some Iphone 4s thing. So I go to plug it in...look what it says. Anyone know how I can fix it?

5,000,000 min = around 3,000 days.

Hope someone knows how to fix it.

i'm guessing he had it set up with a security code that erases all memory if the code fails multiple times. i've never even heard of that message before!

have you tried hooking it up to iTunes?

Ya after typing it in a certain amount of times incorrect it disables it for 1 minute. and then if you type it in one more time incorrect it goes to 5 then 10, 20, and etc. But I don't know how many times you would have to do it for it to say that.

If wont even let me into Itunes, it says this.....

And when I go to the Iphone, it does not even give me a # pad to put a pass code into.

I agree with the above post take it to the apple store or Verizon/AT&T wherever it's from..on a side note if anyone don't know you can take the I4 and go on iTunes and update it with the same software as the 4s I just did mine and its alot better.. You can now edit recent calls without deleting them all.. A big "thumbsup" if you're calling #'s you're not suppose to be..lol

OK. FOR SERIOUS NOW.


You need to restore the phone from DFU mode.

So.

Begin with the iphone turned off.

1) Press & hold both the "sleep" and "home" button.
2) Continue to hold both buttons until the Apple logo disappears.
3) Once the Apple logo disappears, release ONLY the "sleep" button. Continue to hold the "home" button
4) the ihpone will make an alert and you can release the "home" buttono.

the i[hone is now in DFU mode.

Connect the iphone as normal to itunes and restore the iphone.
