I was given a new bright tj hardbody for Christmas and want to use it for a project. Was wondering if spraying the inside with bed liner would help protect it from cracking during any "accidents " it will encounter on the trail. Any one try this before??

It might help hold it together.. once it's craked. unfortunatley I don't think that the Herculiner would improve the integrity of the plastic. It would be a good backing in that it would help limit flex, but thats about it. the best thing to do is have strong metal/nylon contact points surrounding your hard body. Make sure that common points of impact like the front, rocker panels and rear are protected from direct blows. That's about all I can suggest for a hardbody, be ready to drive carefully or learn to do repairs. that's what having a Hardbody is all about!
