This is awesome! I like the body choice rather than some others that are very commonly used. I've never seen that body before. I really like the flatbed and the box you made. Ive never liked 6x6s, but you knocked it out of the park! "thumbsup"

What wood is the storage box and bed made from?

Bossa wood and popsicle sticks. I ran out of the bossa wood and I had couple of packs of popsicle so i just used them to finsh the box and since i had them I used the for the bed too. My budy Lout is the one who gave me the design idea for the box.

That is a nice build, the work you did on the flat bed looks legit. Thanks for posting it up. The Nukizer body has a pleasing style. Sadly now out of production we are left with the JConcepts Lloyd :ror:

Re: Jeep NuKizer 6x6 Flatbed

I was at Amain Hobbies today and I was running my 6x6 on there indoor crawler course and I heard a snap. Well that snap was the c-hub braking and a later found I broke the upper link as well.

Re: Jeep NuKizer 6x6 Flatbed

Was the other wood you used Balsa wood?

My dad used to whittle on Balsa wood blocks, and they make a lot of RC airplanes out of it - and while it isn't as strong as Pine, it's much lighter...

I don't know what the popsicle sticks where made of all I know is they came from the doller store.

Did some work to the 6x6. I fixed the broken parts thank to a buddy of mine for sending a set of c-hubs and upper 3 link he had layin around and i flipped the stock "rock/steps" and heated the plastic up so i can bend it closer to the body.

Re: Jeep NuKizer 6x6 Flatbed

Made a Axial trans adapter plate and put my Axial wraith trans in because a bushing broke inside the stock HG trans.

Re: Jeep NuKizer 6x6 Flatbed

With that bed I thought this was a rollback at first. Nice build.

Re: Jeep NuKizer 6x6 Flatbed

Welp I got tired of breaking stuff on this rig so I did a brushed swap on it, now it has a Axial Ae5 esc and a matching 55t motor, a 18t Pinon gear and a 87t spur gear.

Re: Jeep NuKizer 6x6 Flatbed

Looks great! I’m going to build a 6x6. I’ve got the axles, just need the rest!

Re: Jeep NuKizer 6x6 Flatbed

Been a minute since I updated this thread. I added some exhaust stacks to the cab.

Re: Jeep NuKizer 6x6 Flatbed

Got an update,i got tired of the chassis flex from the plastic chassis so I made a new Chassis out of 1/8 in steel plate.

Re: Jeep NuKizer 6x6 Flatbed

The 6x6 now has a Axial skid plate so now I can runn the SCX10 transmission with the new Chassis.
