It was great meeting you and getting to hang out for a little while in Alabama. I wish there was a way for me to get to come down and do some crawling in your home turf. See you next year.

Fun in Bama

Hey Camo,

Great hanging out with you again in Bama. Glad you got to play with a scatter gun down-south style. I'll spot you on course anytime. Keep the build coming.

Take care,

Joel

Well Done Camo, good job on the finish even with some bad luck. That chassis looks the goods and I must get me some of those unis from SDS customs soon.

I like that first pic too"thumbsup"

I got to do a bit of work on this thing last week. First job was to swap my old chassis out for the new carbon fibre Thing Don gave me at Nationals. This chassis is just plain pretty. Fit and finish is top notch. Not that I would expect anything less from the BWD laboratory.

Next job was to install the new Super 300's from SDS Customs. I Did not end up getting them installed as I thought there might be a bearing missing. But I was wrong it is not required. I did how ever discover this.
It explains why my front end was so sloppy. A quick dip into the onetencrawlers.com.au inventory to grab an AX10 Fast Eddie bearing kit and she was back together. The super 300's will go in this week and be put through there paces one afternoon this week.

I also picked up a Cow RC jumbo Mag mat while I was away. It is so nice having a large clean work area to play with now, The mat was big enough for both Stewbaru and I to work on both of our rigs.. Thanks Heath for shipping this to the Wiesse Lake lodge for me.

That IS a sexy chassis. WAY too sexy for an Aussie ginger like you Mr Creepy Beard. Of course...not as sexy as yer Alabammy fan club. Oof!

Not sure what yer plannin on "spawning" but you BETTER drag yer happy ass to Nats next year. I've been saving this can of Fosters for months.

So its only been a couple of months since I have visited this thread. Been a very busy few months of late buying a new house and fixing up the old one to sell it. But I can see the horizon and it is time to start playing with my tow cars again. I still have not installed the 300's I picked up in Bama but they will be going in soon. I have however got myself some new wheels.
Again a special thank you to Hulksta engineering for working with me on these wheels. If you are in need of a new and original CF fix, check out his Vendor thread.

Front face is 2.5mm and rear is 1mm. For a two spoke wheel they feel very strong in hand and I am really looking forward to testing them.

Thanks J.D., I am glad to be back in the game.

Well wheels are mounted and ready for testing at tomorrows comp, there is a good chance I will tear the hub mount from the wheel proper but I just have to give them a go. Now to the gory details.

The fronts: Hulksta Engineering (highlucks) Eclipse wheels, 600's, C.I. single stage soft foams with sanded and clipped BC's 120grams

The Rears: Hulksta Engineering (highlucks) Eclipse wheels, 725's with 1mm H.E.CF SLW spaces, C.I. DD closed cell Narrow softs with sanded BC's 123grams.

I will be harnessing my inner Jeremy and the power of the ginger beard tomorrow so wish me luck

Sorry for the sucky photos.
