Im wondering which is the best hobby shop around the metro as far as scaler parts and accessories. Ive been to hub hobby in richfield and rc car kings. Nothing against both business but i just like to shop around so if there are any that are as good or better i would love to know

Hub in Little Canada has some RC4WD parts behind the counter as well. Those are going to be your best 3 shops for scaler parts.

i wish up in duluth we had more than 1 hobbytown. it sucks having to order parts and waiting. since our hobbytown refuses to care any crawler parts

That is just bad bussiness, it like NOT carring paddle tires at a hobby store in the dessart.....just plain dumb.

RC Car Kings is also great when it comes to ordering parts not in stock. Call them up and they order it. No stopping in to pay in advance.

I stopped in yesterday and they were trying to talk me into racing short course trucks over the winter.

Just wanted to say thanks for telling me about RC Car King. Finally got a chance to get out there yesterday and holy cow, a truly fantastic place! Tons of inventory. Plus, the staff didn't give me the mightier than thou type feeling I get at the Hub.

Also got out to Jerry's. Really fun too and Jerry's a great guy. A decent amount of stuff there too - all trucks too!

Where is Jerry's?
Thanks "thumbsup"

I havent been to RC Car Kings in years..gotta get back their..used to really like Hub Hobby but both the Little Canada and Richfield stores have gone downhill alot...nothing up here in St Cloud..personally cant stand Bakers Hobby..people that work their just dont seem to know much..they cater to the first time buyer RTR kit..no real parts except for Nitro Monster truck stuff..ask a question and you get looked at like an idiot. Only go in their for Styrene and small misc stuff. Ever since it moved and changed owners its gone downhill like a snowball gaining speed. Gotta get back to RC Car Kings some week-end!
