Both styles are available in black, white or raw finish.

I like the black 8 round hole style myself, they look a lot like the new ones from rc3wd but without the hideous 'Mickey Thompson' stamped across the face of the wheel. I can only find 1 distributor which is ' Hobby Ect.' I called them w/ questions, they had no answers... We all know there's no way to contact Hot Racing themselves. I'd like to buy the wheels, I'd just rather to be able to talk with someone that already has a set before I order.

do they look extra wide in that first pic?

sorry i have no actual help to post :(

The width is definitely something I have a question about, the other is the offset. In one of the pics on hobby ect. you get a so-so pic of the hex drive, which looks pretty thick as well. HR has 2 machined 2.2 wheels that accept VP hubs, so I'm also wondering if the same is true of the stamped wheels.

With the amount of $$ required to make the deep draw dies to make wheels like this, I can't imagine that 2 different companies would make similar products independently of each other, which makes me wonder if there's just a single main supplier. It would be nice to be able to contact the manufacturer and get some tech specs.

Did you email help@hot-racing.com?

You could also try contacting liquid rc since they are a major distributor for hot-racing. Contact Us : LiquidRC.com , No Bull world wide shipping

You could also contact mr-retro on eBay who is the seller for liquid rc. eBay My World - mr-retro

I didn't bother with their help@.... they have never answered me in the past.

Liquid RC is the on-line retail side of hobby ect.com , I called them this morning.

mr-retro might be an option I didn't know of. "thumbsup"

Sorry I have no constructive info. Just another guy curious about these wheels as well, awaiting updates.

The 6 lug rc3wd wheels are my favorite, and with the UGC spacers they make an awesome combo. Options are good

Very well. I put them thru hell!! I would just recommend putting 2 holes in the center section.
I work 10 minutes from hobby etc. So I pick up a lot of the HR products and have always been impressed

I'm running the white ones. What would you like to know?
Here are some pics I took before mounting them.

Thanks so much for offering!!

I'd like to know: how wide are they? ( lip to lip) How wide is the center section? How wide is the hub? What is offset ( or back spacing from the drive hex to the lip of the rear side of the wheel)?

I like how they look on the Wraith. Could you get a close up pic of the front wheel? I'd like to see how "deep" the wheels sit on the axle and how close the knuckles are to the wheel.
