Iknow their are many links to this in the forum but ide rather have the info in some of my threads. How do I make the belts stop slipping? My brothers is realy bad, but mine is ok. I just want it to stop slipping so i can put it to its full potintial. not like when i try to go up somethin and im dooing good so far but then, one rock to steep or something and all i here is a whining nois and not the tires rubing. And that reminds me, how do i make the tires get better grip without bying new ones?

Take off the belts, drive down to a hardware store, and buy an oring one size smaller than the belts. or go on ebay and they sell "replacement" belts for about $10 each which is a rip off. o-rings are like 60 cents each and they don't slip at all, but can break an axle.

the o-ring mod in the front axle is great as long as u back off when u can tell the axle is under a lot of strain after u put the o-ring up front swap your stock front belt in to the rear end to stop slipping in the back i cant remember what size the o-ring is but it is in here somwhere prob. on the nylint mod page!!

Got to advance auto parts and ask for a 1 13/16 o-ring for your front (if that one is slipping). The difference is amazing. mine front axle now pulls the entire vehicle up and over obstacles by itself (since the rear decided to start slipping).

Remember, do this mod at your own risk and when it binds up, LET OFF the throttle.

From what they say on the boards, you get the 1 13/16 for the front and put the old front belt in back. If that doesn't help and you want more, sand down the pully that the belt wraps around with some sand paper. Slip no more...

get an o ring for it or cut the belt and cut of an 1/2" -1" and super glue it back together
