How do I remove my knuckle bearings?

I'm swapping out my knuckles, but the bearings are in there pretty tight and I dont want to break something...

Mine were tight also. I used a small punch and lightly tap them out. You shouldn't damage anything as long as you don't get to crazy.

yes, they are too short. when you tighten the screws it will bind knuckle. don't feel bad, bryan forgot to tell me too

I test fit them once before, but I probably didn't tighten them down because I was still waiting for Jake to get Axial stub shafts in.

And yeah, Bryan forgot to tell me I needed them, lol

hmm.. outer bearings came out easy. I'm kinda lost on the inners.

I used a stub shaft and pulled it out with a little leverage force... just push it to the side a little when pulling them out... worked like a champ...

I got one out that way. Other isn't budging.

Well I got all the bearings out except one, so I'm moving it to the rear axle. lol

i had hard time getting a few out as well when i was going to cut off my knuckle ends while doing some mods; a bit of heat with running the dremmel and the bearings fell out on their own.

a bit of heat is the answer

The stock bearings are just about the same quality as most bearings out there. Not sure why they would be described as "suck." They may not be top end, but good enough for crawling from my experience.

I say they "suck" because I have a handful of the stock bearings that have gone out on me that have caused me to damage and have to replace gears and axles. Ever since I installed good quality bearings I have yet to have any failures. On one set of my Berg axles I had the knuckle bearings wear out in less than 10 packs. Hence the word suck.

Well, I will just throw my two cents out that I have yet to have a single problem with any of the stock bearings that came with my OCM kit. Hence why I would question why others would say they suck.
