How much does your bully weigh?

Hello,

a friend of mine striped them in an Axial with 55T and 2s...

Greetings Frank

Plastic wheels just don't work for me on my Bully (I've used eight shooters since they came around on most of my rigs with no problems:mrgreen:. ) Not hating on pro-line (run plenty of their products)I've also blown the hexes out of epics and axial rims:twisted:

You guys blowing hexes on the plastic wheels are you running the stock bully hexes? I spun two axial beadlock hex cups with the stock bully hexes. I've since drilled out the axial aluminum hexes to fit the shafts and have had no problems at all. The stock bully hexes are almost rounded on the edges.

Just curious because it really helps keep the weight down if the pocket book won't allow for slw's. I posted already but just so it's relevant I'm at 6.6 rtr.

Should be some options up on the site soon to help shave some weight on those Bullies.
Details please!!!! I'm looking at the bergs due to the weight and the price on ckrc. I currently run a bully rig that is 6.2 rtr with plastic wheels. When your up agianst Moonbuggy bergs every comp every gram matters. I was going to look at running a berg rear and bully front. But if there are some true weight saving products coming it may sway my choice.

Thanks for the bully support. I love mine and have yet to break a thing and I try.

Chris

Since light weight is all the rage right now, what is everyone down to?

Just build my first bully coming from a MOA LCC and holly crap its heavy! I'm at 5lb 13oz. My LCC was at 5lb 3oz and worked great at that weight.

I've got the regular cases and tubes and with my DNA rims and Grabbers I was at 7lb, 13 oz I think it was. Not sure of a weight now with the SLW V1's and the Boss Claws. I do plan on getting the light weight axles soon. At the very least, a rear.

Under 6 lb isn't heavy for a bully. That's pretty light.

I'm now at just under 6 1/2lb with mine and I like the weight as it is right now.

5.5 lbs light as i can go with bj3 and 1300 3s
cant wait to get my xr10 n see how a 4.5 lb rig can do

I was checking out the new xr10 at rojo this last week end...bender runs his xr10 at just about 6.5lbs...maybe the heavier rig still works better?? Every time I lighten mine up a bunch I slowly at more weight because it does not perform how I like.
I'm at 7lbs right now.

I think going as light as possible is fun for a change but I ran at 5.7 for a while and its so unpredictable that its not worth it to me, not enough of a gain in any situation to mess with. Im back up to 6.8 right now and that seems to be my sweet spot.

currently 6.2lbs - light weight Bully axles, YTC BJV3 chassis with V4 skid plate, Mayhem double phattys upfront and SLW v3 on the rear. looking to make 6lbs if I can.

I have been out to practice with it twice now and i am really liking it at 5lb 13oz."thumbsup" It is heavier than my Losi was by about 10oz's and i can tell when driving. It is working really good and i think i am going to stick with the weight i'm at for now. It seems like a lot of you guys are running really heavy rigs.
