How to dovetail

Hi folks I am kinda new to rc crawlers and today I bought a new body for my axial ax10 scorpion, the body I got is replicated after a 72 chevy c10 it's made by hpi, anyway I want to dove tail the bed but am not sure how to put the back of the bed back together after cutting it! Any help or input would be great.

The best way to make it one piece again is to use Shoe Goo and drywall tape. Obviously, paint the body before you attach it together.
