Anybody Know how to draw CAD drawings and can help me. Like how to draw them what is the best program to use and Etc. I have Adobe CS5 right now. I don't know if that is what I should use or not. Thanks!

What exactly are you trying to draw? It depends as different programs are good for drawing different types of things.

I have a couple of student copies of autodesk Autocad R-14 and 2k I like them but would never pay full retail for them as a weekend warrior:shock:

Progecad has a free version for personal use. It's very similar to autocad. if you're only interested in 2D autocad or a clone such as progecad are great.

I've created "fake" drawings in photoshop or publisher in a pinch but real cad software will be easier and faster.

For drawing chassis, I am guessing you are talking about a comp style tvp chassis, then just about anything would work.

Autocad
SolidWorks
Inventor
Sketchup
etc.

There are lots of options...You looking to buy something or just play around for free or cheap? Most of these things cost quite a bit of money, the software I use at work cost us 7k for 1 seat.

I'm just wanting to play around. I got sketchup yesterday and I've been messing around with that. Pretty easy to use so far.
