how to get a cat away from my car?

So theres this cat that likes to sleep on my car, it leaves fur and red/oarnge goo. What could i use to get this cat off my car besides a car cover. :lol:

Trudat. The problem is that I wouldn't want to use one to run a cat off my car. But I do use one to run the neighbors dogs and cats out of my yard and away from my pool. Yep. If I was going to run a problem cat away from my car, I'd use a single shot bolt action .22 rifle with CB shorts. They are subsonic, make less noise than a pellet gun, and ...well, obviously you'd need to wash your car, but you take the cat out in the middle of the night, and no one is the wiser.

lay some strips of tape with the sticky side up across the car. they hate that and its very entertaining with they try to get it off by shakeing there feet.

If the car is in a covered area and its not too hot, wax the hell out of the hood of the car the put a layer of butter over "his spot." Sit back and enjoy the show. Cats are smart, should only take a night and if you waxed well enough, a shot of a hose should get the butter right off.
