my front springs, occasionally rear, keep dislocating from the bottom of the shock.
Is this a common problem?
how to stop, is it actually worth trying to stop?

mine do that too sometimes. if you have adjustable shocks just bring the adjustable ring down a few threads until you are happy. if you dont want to do that try making some limiting straps. i had lost a spring retainer once but after about two hours of looking for it i finally found it

i'll have a look at some limiters, i dont have adjustable shocks ,,

THIS IS AN OPTION, JUST DRILL SMALL HOLES IN THE BOTTOM RETAINER AND HOOK WIRE THROUGH AND OVER SPRINGS AND CRIMP.

I have seen others slide a small length of heat shrink tubing over the end of the spring & shrink it. This captures the end of the spring (last couple of coils) to the perch."thumbsup""thumbsup"

Even those will come undone.....The drilled hole with zip tie works good.

The only way jeepindougs spring cups come off is if the rodend comes off or your shock shaft breaks. His spring cups are awesome, and look better than wired on cups. IMO

Ive ran the Jeepindougs cups for over a year...Every course the fronts pop
off..My tires just unscrew the springs way to easy...Maybe its just me...

They are a cool product if they work for ya.

I have had the same issue to be honest. My springs popped off pretty easy with the jeepindoug c-cups so I went with shrink wrap and had zero issues ever since. I like that idea of drilling the cups and using wire.

I double the heat shrink trick just make sure it covers the cup and about 2 coils of the springs and your good to go.

Small drop of thin ca on the end of the spring cup and slide the spring down.Use it all the time and never have an issue.

Plus you can usually just pull the spring off the the cup as the ca does form an overly strong bond. Its enough to keep the spring, but not enough that you cant get it off.
